What are your symptoms?

  • Meniere’s Disease (MD) is a chronic inner ear disorder causing episodes of vertigo/dizziness, tinnitus (roaring sounds), hearing loss, and/or ear fullness. The severity and frequency of episodes vary from person to person; however, symptoms often worsen over time and may lead to permanent hearing loss and persistent balance difficulties. Early evaluation and treatment may help reduce the risk of disease progression and long-term damage. Even when treatment is started promptly, a comprehensive diagnostic workup is essential to rule out other underlying conditions. Our treatment regimens are individualized based on each patient’s medical history and current medications. In cases where a false positive diagnosis of MD is later identified, the health risks associated with our treatment protocols are generally minimal. All potential risks and benefits are thoroughly reviewed in person as part of our informed consent process.

  • Sudden Hearing Loss medically known as sudden sensorineural hearing loss (SSNHL) is a rapid, unexplained loss of hearing in one or both ears occurring within a three-day period. It is typically accompanied by tinnitus (ringing or roaring sounds), vertigo or dizziness, and/or a sensation of ear fullness. Notable clinical studies involving over 200 cases of SNHL identified that delays in assessment and treatment are strongly associated with significantly worse recovery rates. Even when treatment is started promptly, a comprehensive diagnostic workup is essential to rule out other underlying conditions. When compromised, it may result in symptoms such as hearing loss, vertigo, or dizziness. Some inner ear disorders can be treated successfully; however, they often require immediate medical attention to prevent permanent and irreversible damage to critical inner ear structures. Unfortunately, timely access to effective clinical care is not always possible. Even delays of a few weeks can significantly reduce the likelihood of successful treatment outcomes.
